Purpose

The Excellence in Education Award is designed to recognize members who are active educators (i.e., currently employed) for their outstanding contributions to education. This award increases visibility and promotes Alpha Delta Kappa (A∆K) on the state/provincial/national (S/P/N), regional and International levels.

Available to:

  • Members employed in education
  • Nomination is required

Amount Awarded:  

  • $500 S/P/N Level Award 
  • $1,000 Regional Level Award
  • $5,000 International Level Award

Deadline: 

  • November 1st

Program Timeline:

  • Application with Nomination Opens Odd Year / August,  Deadline Odd Year 11/01 
    • SPN Recipients Announced at SPN Conventions - Even Year /  March - June 
    • Regional Recipients Announced at Regional Conference - Even Year / June - July
    • International Recipients Announced at International Convention - Odd Year
